AirPods will forever change the way you use headphones. As soon as you take them out of their charging case, your AirPods will turn on and connect to your iPhone, Apple  Watch, iPad or Mac.

The sound is triggered automatically as soon as you put them in your ear and goes to sleep as soon as you remove them. To adjust the volume, change songs, make a call, or even get directions, double-tap the earpiece to activate Siri.

With chip  W1 specially designed by Apple, AirPods use optical sensors and a motion accelerometer to detect whether or not they are in the ear. Whether you use one or both earbuds, the chip  W1 automatically routes sound and activates the microphone.

And if you're on the phone or chatting to Siri, another accelerometer kicks in with beamforming mics to filter out background noise and focus on your voice. The chip  Ultra-low-power W1 manages battery life so well that AirPods provide 5  hours of listening time on a single charge  - a record.

And, thanks to a charging case that contains many additional charges to give you more than 24  hours of battery life, they are always ready to follow you.

Need a quick recharge  ? In  placing your AirPods in their case for fifteen minutes, you will get 3  listening hours.
